What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Experience: 3+ years in QA roles, including hands-on experience with
Playwright or similar automation tools.
- Expertise in
manual testing , test case design, and execution.
- Strong understanding of
Agile development methodologies and QA best practices.
- Proficiency in
API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured .
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test case management tools such as
JIRA or similar.
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks like BDD and TestNG, and testing strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with developers and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying potential issues and ensuring product quality.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance of applications.
- Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans.
- Conduct API testing using Postman to validate system integrations.
- Track and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure thorough testing at every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Analyze and report on test results, providing actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with QA processes and best practices throughout the organization.
- Identify opportunities to enhance test automation frameworks and tools.
- Contribute to team discussions on improving testing strategies, tools, and methodologies.
