Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation using Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both manual and automated testing, with a proven track record of building robust, scalable test frameworks for web applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web application testing
• Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using bug tracking tools (JIRA, etc.)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct API testing and validate backend integrations
• Review test coverage and continuously improve testing processes
• Mentor junior QA team members on automation best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of total QA/testing experience
• Strong hands-on experience with

Playwright for test automation

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (or Python, depending on stack)
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns (Page Object Model, etc.)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Nice to Have
• Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress)
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• ISTQB certification
