Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Summary: We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing across web applications, mobile apps, and API-based systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality software delivery through effective test planning, execution, and collaboration within Agile teams. Candidates should also be capable of creating and testing load-testing scenarios and performing deep data validation as part of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs. • Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and detailed test scenarios. • Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT. • Conduct web application testing, covering UI, functionality, cross-browser, and responsive behavior. • Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web and mobile applications. • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman. • Create and test load-testing scenarios, perform data validation, and ensure system resiliency under stress. • Log, track, and verify defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla. • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). • Perform cross-device and cross-platform testing. • Conduct smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing before release. • Maintain test coverage and traceability matrices. • Mentor junior QA engineers and review their deliverables. • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards. • Support production releases and perform post-release validation

Qualifications: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments • Exposure to DevOps workflows • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Understanding of performance, load, and security testing principles
