About this role
Description
The Amazon Expansion technology team is looking for talented, detail oriented and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to join the team who can own the project end to end testing process. We engage QAEs at the beginning of the project to understand business requirements and technical implementation and test code at the user level both manually or with automated tools.
AEE (Amazon Exports & Expansion) Tech builds and tests technology that brings Amazon footprint to new countries by offering Best- At- Amazon with undeniable delivery experience, selection and convenience localized for our customers. We enable Amazon to new international marketplaces and give an opportunity for consumers in new geographies to find, discover, and buy anything online and for local and international sellers to choose Amazon as an indispensable channel for their products, with each country launch, we continually raise the bar on launch day 1 features and drive innovation for customers. We support emerging marketplace business to grow bigger as well. Country expansion and global store launches is essential to the global success of Amazon as a whole. Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities:
. Define and create test strategy, write test plans and design test cases
. Implement best practices including a variety of different testing protocols, tools and metrics
. Help define & contribute to improve the Quality Assurance process
. Work closely with multiple stakeholders (Tech & PMs) to assure test coverage
. Promote QA productivity & efficiency through automation, tools, and other best practices
. Assist in building tools and frameworks for automated testing
. Leverage AI/ML-powered testing tools to accelerate test case generation, defect detection, and regression analysis
. Explore and implement generative AI solutions to improve test coverage, automate test script creation, and enhance QA workflows
. Use AI-assisted tools for intelligent test prioritization, root cause analysis, and predictive quality metrics
. Work with remote teams across different timezones to enable delivery of test artifacts
. Execute functional, regression tests, performance and stress testing
. Contribution to test automation
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
