Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Title: Automation QA Engineer (3+ Years Experience) Location: Remote / Work from Home Company: PS Global Group Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on building scalable test automation frameworks, validating APIs, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST clients, or automation frameworks Write and execute automated test scripts for regression, integration, and performance testing Analyze and understand TypeScript/JavaScript code to create effective test cases and debug issues Validate backend services and data flows using PostgreSQL queries Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC Execute test plans, identify defects, and track issues through resolution Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines Ensure high test coverage, maintain test documentation, and continuously improve QA processes Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in QA automation and software testing Strong experience in API testing (REST/JSON; SOAP is a plus) Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright Ability to read and understand TypeScript/JavaScript code Experience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL with the ability to write complex queries Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Soft Skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement NOTE: Candidates who can join by next week or immediately will be preferred.
