CTC: Up to ₹16 LPA About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated

QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, API Testing, and automation framework development. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through robust manual and automated testing practices. Key Responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of the customer journey and critical user workflows to identify high-impact testing scenarios.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Engineering teams to understand application functionality and design comprehensive testing strategies.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed manual test plans, test cases, and test procedures during sprint and release cycles.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases and accurately document test results, defects, and observations.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and BDD Cucumber.
• Automate UI and API test cases to reduce manual effort and improve release efficiency.
• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously enhance automation coverage and improve testing processes.
• Work closely with developers to improve overall software quality and testing best practices.
• Maintain automation repositories using software engineering best practices, including version control and code reviews.
• Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, or similar solutions to accelerate automation development and improve testing productivity. Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with

Selenium WebDriver .

• Experience with

BDD frameworks such as Cucumber .

• Strong experience in

API Testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

• Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in manual testing, regression testing, functional testing, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized testing environments.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and clean coding practices for automation.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries such as Healthcare, BFSI, or Life Sciences. AI & Automation Skills
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Devin, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate test creation and maintenance.
• Ability to review, validate, optimize, and improve AI-generated automation scripts.
• Strong understanding of when and how to effectively use AI in the software testing lifecycle. Soft Skills
