Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Description The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tanda. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems used within the group. Daily tasks include collaborating with development and product teams, creating and maintaining test cases, performing manual and automated testing, and documenting test results and defects. The engineer will also participate in improving QA processes, implementing best practices, and supporting releases by validating new features and updates. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the role helps ensure that technology solutions meet performance, usability, and compliance standards.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with experience defining test strategies and quality standards.
• Ability to design, document, and maintain clear and comprehensive Test Cases for various functional and non-functional requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including exploratory, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Practical experience in QA Automation, including building and executing automated test suites and working with common automation frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry software environments is an advantage.
