Quality Associate

Responsibilities

• Overseeing Clinical and Service Quality monitors across the hospital
• Conduct internal and external audits as per the quality calendar and provides appropriate feedback to the departments by having management meetings.
• Monitoring and tracking of all quality indicators for each department and provides appropriate feedback to concerned departments.
• Co-ordinating in implementation of continuous quality improvement projects and clinical audits, so as to systematically evaluate and meet patient care needs
• Revision of policies, procedures and SOPs in consultation with the departmental HODs as and when required
• Analysis of incident reports using proper RCA tools and to plan action for the incidents.
• Achieving, sustaining NABH, JCI and other accreditations
• Monitoring and regulating committee meetings and minutes to be circulated to concerned members
• Represent the department in committee meetings of the hospital.
• Ensure the overall activities related to quality of the hospital to meet the requirement of quality management, health & safety and legal stipulations
• Design, develops and implements the quality plan strategies that ensure efficient and effective utilization of the department resources
• Discuss the findings of the daily rounds done with the management
• Conducting patient safety awareness programs
• Regularly updating and incorporating new guidelines in organization based on evidence-based practices, new literature on quality improvement.
• Ensuring of quality assurance programme across the organization.
• Verification and validation of quality indicators formulated.
• Training of HCWs on continuous quality improvement aspect.
