Quality Analysts! Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of mortgage underwriting decisions to ensure adherence to internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Analyze underwriting files for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with lending criteria.
• Identify trends, risk factors, and potential compliance issues in underwriting processes, escalating concerns as necessary.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to underwriters and leadership based on audit findings.
• Generate reports on audit results and present to leadership.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, investor requirements, and mortgage underwriting best practices.
