Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with 2.5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be proactive, quality-focused, and capable of independently managing end-to-end testing activities. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery through effective test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing along with basic automation testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or similar.
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and supporting evidence.
• Execute regression testing to validate fixes and maintain system stability across releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation, test reports, and dashboards.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2.5-4 years of strong experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with TestNG (or similar frameworks).
• Solid experience in API Testing using Postman (REST APIs).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks, concepts, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to ServiceNow platform and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Basic scripting/programming knowledge in Java or Python.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
• Prior experience in client-facing roles or direct stakeholder interaction.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) will be an added advantage.
