QS & Planning Engineer- Urgent Hiring

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project budgets based on approved drawings.
• Review contractor/subcontractor bills, manage work orders, subcontract agreements, and variation claims.
• Monitor project costs, material consumption, cash flow, and ensure budget compliance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Track project progress, analyze schedule variances, and implement recovery plans to meet milestones.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and management updates.
• Monitor resource allocation, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with project management, site, procurement, design, QA/QC, and MEP teams for smooth project execution.
• Maintain project documentation, contractual records, and ensure compliance with project specifications and contract requirements.
• Identify project risks related to cost and schedule, and recommend effective mitigation measures.
• Support timely project completion by ensuring cost efficiency, schedule adherence, quality standards, and successful project delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with 5-10 years of construction industry experience in QS, Planning, or Project Controls.
• Strong expertise in BOQ, quantity take-off, estimation, rate analysis, budgeting, cost control, and contractor billing.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project for project scheduling, baseline planning, progress tracking, and delay analysis.
• Good knowledge of contract management, variations, claims, cash flow, resource planning, and project cost monitoring.
• Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD, with experience in progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and project documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
