QS Engineer Role & Responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to calculate material and labour quantities.
• Prepare rate analysis, cost comparisons, and budget estimates.
• Verify contractor bills, subcontractor measurements, and running account (RA) bills.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and material consumption to ensure budget compliance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with relevant experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, billing, and quantity measurement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and relevant estimation software.
• Knowledge of civil construction, infrastructure projects, and contract documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
