Qs & Billing Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive QS & Billing Engineer who can independently handle Quantity Surveying, Estimation, Billing, BOQ preparation, quantity calculations, and cost control activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction drawings, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, RA bills, subcontractor billing, material reconciliation, and project cost management.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates based on construction drawings.
• Prepare and verify client RA bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills.
• Conduct site measurements and verify executed quantities with site teams.
• Perform rate analysis and monitor project costs against approved budgets.
• Identify quantity variations, extra items, and prepare variation claims.
• Prepare measurement sheets, reconciliation statements, and billing reports.
• Coordinate with Site, Projects, Purchase, Stores, and Accounts departments.
• Verify subcontractor claims, work orders, and contractual rates.
• Maintain proper records of BOQs, bills, measurements, and supporting documents.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing, cost control, and resolution of billing discrepancies.
