Qms Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain QMS documents, records, formats, and master lists.
• Create presentations, reports, KPI monitoring sheets, and MIS reports.
• Maintain document revision control and ensure timely updates.
• Assist in document control during customer and certification audits.
• Manage soft copy and hard copy records systematically.
• Support internal audits and compliance-related activities.
• Coordinate with departments for document updates and data collection.
• Ensure proper filing and retention of QMS records as per company procedures

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate with 12years of experience in QMS/Quality Assurance, preferably from the Automobile / Auto Components / Manufacturing Industry.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools – APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• Experience in Internal Quality Audits, Process Audits and Product Audits.
• Good understanding of Quality Management System documentation, procedures, work instructions, formats and records.
• Experience in CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why and Fishbone Analysis.
• Knowledge of Customer Complaints, Non-Conformance Management and Corrective/Preventive Actions.
• Exposure to Internal/External/Customer Audits and audit compliance.
• Ability to coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and other departments for QMS-related activities.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint for preparing reports and maintaining QMS records.
• Good communication, documentation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with experience in rubber, moulding, automotive components or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
• Certification/Training in IATF 16949, Internal Auditor or Automotive Core Tools will be an added advantage.
