QC Lead - Lifestyle Products

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC team and inspection activities.
• Implement QC standards, SOPs, and inspection processes.
• Monitor product quality during development and production.
• Handle QC communication with international teams in USA, UK, and Germany.
• Coordinate with suppliers/factories to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct supplier audits and drive quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with approved packaging, labels, artworks, and specifications.
• Maintain QC reports, defect analysis, CAPA, and vendor scorecards.
• Track KPIs such as rejection rates, defects, and supplier performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of QC/QA systems, AQL standards, and export compliance.
• Experience in both apparel and hardgoods categories.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting systems.
• 815 years of QC/QA experience in export houses, sourcing companies, or buying offices.
• Experience managing multi-category sourcing QC operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Fashion, Production, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
