QC Executive

Conduct quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished construction chemical products while maintaining QC documentation, supporting production quality, and ensuring compliance with approved standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Perform physical and chemical tests as per approved test methods and specifications.
• Ensure products such as waterproofing chemicals, tile adhesives, admixtures, epoxy, sealants, and other construction chemicals meet quality standards.
• Monitor production processes and conduct in-process quality checks.
• Maintain and update QC test reports, batch records, inspection reports, and other quality documents.
• Identify any non-conforming materials or products and report them to the concerned department.
• Coordinate with the Production, R&D, and Purchase departments regarding quality-related issues.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Conduct retention sample management and stability testing where required.
• Assist in investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective actions.
• Follow ISO standards, SOPs, safety procedures, and quality systems.
• Ensure proper labeling and approval/rejection status of raw materials and finished goods.

Preferred Qualification

B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry / Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant qualification.

Required Skills / Experience

• B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry / Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Knowledge of construction chemicals and laboratory testing will be preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in construction chemicals, paints, adhesives, coatings, cement, or related manufacturing industries.
• Freshers with relevant educational qualifications may also be considered.
