QC Executive - Sheet Metal Fabrication | Accommodation + Food

We are looking for a QC Executive to handle in-process and final inspection in our stainless steel fabrication and press shop, reporting to the Quality In-charge.

Key responsibilities

• Incoming inspection of raw material (SS coils and sheets) and bought-out parts
• In-process inspection of pressed parts, welded joints and assemblies
• Final inspection of SS water tanks: dimensions, weld quality, leak test, finish
• Coating inspection: thickness (DFT) and adhesion checks
• Prepare inspection reports, check sheets and rejection records
• Raise NCRs; support root cause analysis (5 Why, fishbone) and corrective action
• Maintain calibration records of instruments and gauges
• Support the Quality In-charge on customer complaints and new product trials

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of QC experience in sheet metal, fabrication, press shop or welding
• Hands-on with vernier, micrometer, height gauge and basic measuring instruments
• Able to read engineering drawings and tolerances
• Knowledge of stainless steel grades and welding defects is an advantage
• Exposure to automotive documentation (PPAP, control plan) is an advantage
• Willing to stay in company accommodation and work in shifts if required
