About this role
We are looking for a QA Trainee who is eager to learn software testing and quality assurance practices while working on live client projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to continuously learn new technologies and testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases and report software defects clearly.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure product quality.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and reports.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings.
- Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Good analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL is an advantage.
- Exposure to bug tracking tools is a plus.
