QA Tester-Gen AI

Job Description

We are looking for a QA Tester GenAI Team to take ownership of quality assurance across AI-powered applications. The candidate will be responsible for functional, API, web application, performance, security, and GenAI testing while helping establish structured QA processes within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, system and negative testing.
• Test web applications, APIs and backend workflows.
• Validate data flow, integrations, authentication, error handling and business rules.
• Test GenAI applications for response accuracy, relevance, consistency and hallucinations.
• Identify edge cases and test beyond happy-path scenarios.
• Perform load and performance testing.
• Perform basic application security testing covering authentication, authorization, input validation, session handling and data exposure.
• Identify, document and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Verify fixes and work closely with developers.
• Define QA standards, checklists and testing processes.
• Support testing across multiple projects and POCs.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing and test case design.
• Hands-on experience in Web Application Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing.
• Good knowledge of Postman.
• Experience with Jira.
• Basic SQL / Database Querying knowledge.
• Experience with JMeter or equivalent load-testing tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC / STLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good defect reporting and documentation skills.
• Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 / application security testing.

• Usability testing
• GenAI / LLM application testing
• Chatbot or RAG testing
• Prompt testing
• Experience testing hallucinations and unsupported responses
