QA Test Engineer

Key Skills Required

• Strong Manual Testing experience (Primary Skill)
• Basic to Intermediate Python + Selenium automation experience
• Strong testing fundamentals and automation concepts
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Basic exposure to Performance Testing using JMeter or LoadRunner
• Understanding of GitHub Copilot and its usage in testing activities
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives
• Basic Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

Responsibilities

• Understand business and application functionality
• Create and execute test scenarios and test cases
• Identify, log, and track defects
• Support automation testing activities using Python and Selenium
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with stakeholders
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skillsets

• 4-7 years of QA/Test Engineering experience
• Strong manual testing expertise with automation exposure
• Around 2-3 years of Python experience is acceptable if fundamentals are strong
• Familiarity with performance testing metrics such as response time and throughput
• Ability to clear technical interviews focused on Python, Selenium, and Automation Testing
