QA Snowflake lead

Job Description 

• Develop and implement test strategies and test plans for Snowflake-based solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and design effective test scenarios.
• Execute manual and automated testing for data integrity, functionality, performance, and security within Snowflake.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution before deployment.
• Continuously improve QA processes and tools to enhance the efficiency of testing efforts.
• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements for completeness and testability.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding testing progress and issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in QA and Snowflake to foster innovation within the team.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
