Job Summary:

JBBR Group is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to manage project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress control for residential, commercial, and high-rise construction projects. The role is responsible for preparing project timelines, tracking execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed within planned schedules and milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules and master construction plans from project initiation to handover.
• Develop baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), project milestones, and activity sequencing.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against approved schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Contracts, MEP, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely execution.
• Identify project delays, critical activities, and schedule risks, and recommend corrective action plans.
• Prepare look-ahead plans, recovery schedules, and catch-up plans when required.
• Track manpower, material, equipment, and resource utilization against project plans.
• Generate weekly and monthly MIS reports, progress dashboards, and milestone reports for management.
• Review contractor schedules and monitor compliance with project timelines.
• Participate in project review meetings and present progress, delays, and mitigation plans.
• Maintain planning documentation, project calendars, and progress records in ERP/project management systems.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Certification or training in Project Planning, Primavera P6, or MS Project will be an added advantage.

Experience Required :

• 8–12 years of experience in planning and project controls for residential, commercial, or high-rise construction projects.
• Experience with real estate developers or EPC/construction companies is preferred.

Required Skills :

• Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and project lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent knowledge of project tracking, critical path analysis (CPM), and resource planning.
• Strong reporting and MIS preparation skills using MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Farvision is preferred.
• Ability to analyze project delays and prepare recovery plans.
