QA QC Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Quality Control

• Ensure that hygiene and HACCP standards are maintain by the factory (Supplier)
• Establish and maintain QA/QC standards for all FMCG and snack products.
• Conduct supplier/factory audits and approve production facilities.
• Monitor raw materials, packaging materials, production processes and finished products.
• Ensure products meet Thailand FDA, customer and internal quality requirements.
• Manage COA, specifications, lab testing, microbiological/chemical reports and other quality documentation.
• Handle quality complaints, CAPA and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure consistent quality across different production batches, approver of the batch

2. Production & Shipment Planning

• Prepare and monitor the complete production timeline from purchase order to finished goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers/factories to ensure production happens as per agreed schedule.
• Cross checking with supplier regarding raw material and packaging-material readiness.
• Monitor production status and identify potential delays in advance.
• Coordinate with logistics/import teams to ensure shipment readiness and on-time dispatch.
• Maintain a production and shipment tracker with clear deadlines and responsibilities.
• Escalate delays or quality issues immediately to management.

3. NPD New Product Development

• Coordinate with suppliers, factories, R&D, marketing and commercial teams.
• Develop product specifications, recipes/formulations and packaging requirements.
• Manage sampling, product trials, sensory evaluation and product approval.
• Coordinate cost development and commercial feasibility.
• Ensure regulatory and FDA requirements are considered from the beginning of NPD.
• Develop and maintain NPD timelines and launch plans.
• Ensure products are commercially, technically and legally ready before launch.

4. Supplier & Factory Management

• Develop a strong network of approved manufacturers and suppliers.
• Evaluate factories based on quality, capacity, capability, cost and reliability.
• Negotiate production timelines and ensure adherence to agreed commitments.
• Conduct regular factory visits and production inspections.
• Maintain approved supplier/factory lists and performance evaluations.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination
The person should act as the bridge between:

He should ensure that nothing gets stuck between departments.

Preferred candidate profile

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 812+ years experience in FMCG/Food/Snacks manufacturing or import business.
• Food Science Bachelor, Understand Snacks Category (Potato Chips,Snacks)
• Strong experience in QA/QC + NPD + production planning.
• Experience with snacks, biscuits, beverages, frozen food or other FMCG categories preferred.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 and food safety systems.
• Experience dealing with third-party manufacturers/private-label suppliers is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of product specifications, shelf life, packaging and food testing.
• Experience with FDA/regulatory documentation.
• Strong project-management and follow-up skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel to factories/suppliers.
• Should be comfortable working with multiple suppliers and multiple products simultaneously.
