QA/QC Senior Associate (Production)

Wellversed is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Executive with 1–4 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, food processing, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG manufacturing. The role involves ensuring product quality, monitoring manufacturing and packaging operations, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities

1. Quality Inspection & Product Testing

• Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Verify product specifications, labeling, and packaging quality before product release and dispatch.
• Monitor product quality parameters and ensure compliance with established standards.

2. Process Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor manufacturing and packaging activities to ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Identify deviations, non-conformities, and quality issues, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

3. Documentation & Quality Systems

• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, batch records, and other QA documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and maintaining required documents.
• Assist in implementing and improving quality management systems and processes.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with Production, R&D, Procurement, Warehouse, and Compliance teams to maintain product quality and process efficiency.
• Support customer complaint investigations and root cause analysis.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational performance.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of full-time experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Processing, Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, or FMCG Manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
• Relevant degree in Food Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Good understanding of GMP, SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, observation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Learnability, flexibility, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
