QA QC Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all construction and MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Plans, and Inspection Requests.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients regarding quality-related activities.
• Inspect materials and ensure compliance with approved material submittals and project specifications.
• Monitor and maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and other QA/QC documentation.
• Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits as required.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, applicable codes, and UAE construction standards.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and verify compliance with approved procedures.
• Prepare and submit QA/QC reports to project management and relevant stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• 37 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the Construction or MEP industry.
• Experience in conducting site inspections and quality control activities.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, Method Statements, Material Inspections, and Quality Documentation.
• Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, or other MEP works will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant international quality standards and UAE construction requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and preparation of QA/QC reports and documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC experience will be an added advantage.
