About this role
Hiring: QA/QC Engineer Structural Steel Fabrication (Mechanical)
Location: Bauria (Chengail), Howrah, West Bengal
CTC: 3.60–5.40 LPA, depending on experience and competency
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant fabrication QA/QC experience
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Employment: Full-time, factory-based
Essential Requirements:
• Valid NDT Level II certification in at least one method: UT, RT or DPT.
• Hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication, welding and dimensional inspection.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols and WPS.
• Knowledge of welder qualification testing, material traceability, painting/DFT inspection and quality documentation.
Responsibilities include stage-wise and final inspections, NDT coordination, defect identification, corrective action and quality clearance before dispatch.
Preference for candidates currently based in West Bengal or specifically seeking opportunities in West Bengal, with salary expectations within the stated budget.
