QA/QC Civil Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Verify materials received at site comply with approved material submittals.

Witness and monitor field and laboratory testing, including:

Concrete slump tests, compressive strength tests

Reinforcement inspection, Cage inspection, Mould and Shuttering inspection, Casting inspection.

Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) for consultant/client approval.

Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.

Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when work does not meet requirements.

Verify corrective actions have been implemented effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

Maintain quality records and inspection reports.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.

Control and update approved drawings and specifications.

Maintain material inspection records and test certificates.

Ensure calibration certificates for testing equipment are current.

Compile handover dossiers and as-built quality documentation.
