Job Title: Senior Software Testing Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Testing Engineer with extensive experience in non-functional testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications through rigorous testing methodologies. You will work closely with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable insights to enhance application performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute non-functional test plans, including performance, load, and stress testing.
• Utilize JMeter for performance testing and analysis of application behavior under various load conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance requirements and testing strategies.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on application performance metrics.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior testing team members and share best practices in non-functional testing.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in non-functional testing, specifically performance testing.
• Strong proficiency in JMeter for performance testing.
• Solid understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
• Experience in analyzing performance metrics and generating comprehensive reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud-based applications and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation of testing processes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in software testing with a focus on non-functional testing.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or performance engineering are a plus.
