About this role
Description
We are looking for an experienced QA Manual Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for manual testing of software applications.
- Identify and document defects and issues, providing clear and concise reports to the development team.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and requirements.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that software meets quality standards before release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability of requirements to test cases.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficient in writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
