QA manual engineer

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing of web and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
• Familiarity with SQL queries for database validation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Execute test cases (manual) and report defects with detailed reproduction steps.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality at all stages of the SDLC.
• Track, document, and report testing results, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain proper documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
