Qa Lead

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in automation and manual testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, Playwright, API testing, and test automation frameworks. Healthcare domain experience, particularly FHIR/HL7, is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright with JavaScript.
• Develop and execute BDD test scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, mobile, and database testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and validate application integrations.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, and release validation activities.
• Validate cloud-connected applications and support testing of AWS-based environments.
• Prepare test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including automation and manual testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG.
• Experience with Playwright using JavaScript.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in database testing and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Healthcare domain experience, particularly FHIR and HL7 standards.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM or banking applications.
• Exposure to AWS and cloud-connected applications.
• Experience with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser and mobile testing platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and test automation reporting.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
