Job Title: QA Lead

Job Location: Hyderabad & Work from office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of the offshore QA team: plan sprint scope, assign work, track progress daily, and review test cases, execution evidence, and defect reports for quality and consistency.
• Act as the primary offshore point of contact for the client's product owners, business analysts, developers, admins, and release managers, and represent QA in stand-ups, sprint planning, and release meetings.
• Provide proactive status, risk, and release-readiness updates to the client, and escalate quality, requirement, or environment issues early.
• Define the test approach for each sprint and release using risk-based prioritization, and review user stories and acceptance criteria for testability before development starts.
• Hands-on design and execution of functional, regression, and integration tests for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Validate Flows, validation rules, profiles and permission sets, sharing rules, and integrations with connected systems, using SOQL, Data Loader or Workbench, and Postman where needed.
• Plan and run regression tests for Salesforce seasonal releases and the customer application specific releases.
• Lead defect triage with developers and admins, drive defects to closure, and run root cause analysis on escaped defects.
• Support UAT, deployment smoke testing, and post-go-live hypercare, and provide release sign-off summaries.
• Publish regular reporting on execution status, defect trends, and team productivity, and maintain traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects in the client's tools (Jira)
• Coach and mentor team members, onboard new joiners, and maintain knowledge transfer and backup coverage so delivery never depends on one person.
• Coordinate with the automation team on coverage, prioritization, and result validation (hands-on scripting is a definite Plus).
