QA Executive, Silvassa (Falandi)

Opportunity with Nandan Petrochem Ltd. a Nandan Group Company for oils, lubricants and greases business as a QA Executive who will be based in our plant at Falandi in Silvassa.

JOB PROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CANDIDATE :

1. Material Inspection: Conduct incoming and online checks on packaging components to spot printing, sealing, or dimensional defects.

2. Compliance & Audits: Ensure shop floor operations follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and line clearance protocols.

3. Familiarity with testing equipment, material specifications, defect classification, and Quality Management Systems (QMS)

4. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate quality records, issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) for dispatches, and manage sample retention procedures.

5. Problem Solving: Lead root cause investigations for packaging failures or line rejections using tools like 5-Why or Fishbone diagrams.

6. Team Leadership: Train operators and inspectors on quality metrics, safety guidelines, and defect identification.

7. The role also involves close coordination with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, Purchase, R&D, and external suppliers to ensure timely execution of packaging-related activities.

8. Coordinate artwork approval activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory guidelines, and company standards.

9. Verify packaging labels, printed materials, and artwork before production release

10. Ensure all packaging specifications, drawings, and artwork revisions are properly documented and controlled.

11. Maintain packaging approval records and support document management activities as per quality procedures.

12. Coordinate with production teams to ensure packaging materials are available, approved, and suitable for manufacturing operations

13. Assist in implementing quality systems, standardization initiatives, and process improvements across packaging operations

14. Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and quality improvement initiatives related to packaging.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

• Should have minimum 2 years of relevant experience in QA in Manufacturing industry.
• Should be a B.Sc. / B.E. graduate with specialisation preferably in Packaging.
• Good understanding of packaging materials, quality inspection techniques and packaging standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GMP( Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs, and defect analysis.
