QA Engineer

Role Overview As a

QA Engineer , you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying and tracking defects, validating API functionality, and collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts in an Agile environment. While this is primarily a manual testing role, exposure to automation testing is considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
• Execute end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support automation initiatives and contribute to process improvements whenever required.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation. Mandatory Skills
• 2–5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• Smoke Testing
• Sanity Testing
• Experience with API Testing using Postman.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for defect management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Good to Have
• Automation Testing using Selenium with Java or Python.
• Knowledge of Automation Frameworks.
• Experience with TestNG or PyTest.
• Working knowledge of Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Who Should Apply?
