QA Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Manual Testing) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in manual testing with a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. The QA Engineer will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Report, track, and manage defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and improve product usability.
• Document test results and prepare reports on test execution.
• Identify process improvements and suggest enhancements for better test coverage.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools (if applicable).
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and help improve overall quality assurance processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 or 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect reporting.
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
• Good understanding of API testing and ability to use tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with SQL for database testing (basic level).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
