QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, and DevOps) to understand requirements and define the testing scope.
• Design and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for web and mobile applications.
• Test payment workflows, transaction flows, and reconciliation scenarios to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar tools.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts using tools like Selenium or Appium.
• Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter.
• Validate releases before deployment and support production release verification.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve overall product quality.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience in manual testing for web applications.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium or Appium.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience testing fintech or payment-related applications.
• Exposure to Flutter web or mobile applications.
• Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries).
• Experience in CI/CD testing environments.
