QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Inspect castings at various stages, raw, fettled and machined, to ensure dimensional and visual conformity with quality standards.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier, height gauge and micrometer.
• Prepare inspection reports, PPAP layouts and first-piece inspection as per drawings.
• Analyse and take action on non-conformities observed during inspection.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to understand and meet quality requirements.

Required Skills

• Should have knowledge of drawing interpretation, IATF, APQP, PPAP and FMEA.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Should be proactive, flexible and system-oriented.
