QA Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Test case management and Execution

• Perform functional, exploratory, user acceptance, Smoke, Sanity, Regression
• Should understand the requirements and perform complex design, maintenance of the manual test suites following project needs
• Impact analysis of functionality
• Prepare Test artifacts like Test Plans, Test Specifications, Test Reports
• Experience with test case management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Excel
• Identifying Test Scenarios.
• Writing Test scenarios by understanding functionality.
• Execution of Test cases and Maintaining execution log and Test data
• Conduct Peer Review
• Maintaining test case repository on timely basis

2. Defect Reporting and Tracking

• Manage defects by logging, updating status of defect and ensure successful closure of defect
• Should have experience in Defect Management tools like Jira/Mantis
• Should be able to perform RCA analysis for defect leak.
• Updating missed test cases / scenarios.

3. Agile methodology

• Experience in Project management tools like Jira
• Knowledge about scrum framework and scrum activities.
• Able to coordinate with different stake holders.
• Demonstrate domain Knowledge with client.

4. SQL Server

• Hands-on Experience in SQL Server

5. API Testing

• Should have Knowledge of REST API Testing using POSTMAN
