QA Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Review specifications and develop effective test strategies and test plans.
• Preparing Test Scenarios, Test Cases for module, integration and system testing.
• Working with cross-functional teams with regards to test preparation, test execution, test data and tool usage.
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results. Verify that implementation is as per specifications.
• Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing, including functional-level system tests, business scenario-based testing, to ensure proper test coverage.
• Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Working with the development team to get defects to closure.
• Defects verification, carry out regression testing, performance testing, load testing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience as a Quality Assurance Tester/Engineer.
• High accuracy and attention to details.
• Clear and timely communication.
• Passionate about quality.
• Familiar with Agile frameworks.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Be able to work independently or in a team.
• Basic understanding of web/android technologies.
• Automation testing experience is good to have.
• Knowledge of Accounting/Inventory/ERP systems will be an added advantage
