QA Engineer (SDET)

About us: At Omnibound AI, we're building AI-powered B2B SaaS products that help teams work smarter and faster. We're looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer who can take ownership of quality, build scalable automation frameworks, and leverage AI tools to accelerate testing.

Responsibilities: 🔹 Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend services. 🔹 Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory test cases to ensure product quality and release readiness. 🔹 Leverage AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar solutions to improve test automation efficiency and coverage. 🔹 Validate REST APIs, database operations, and end-to-end workflows across complex B2B SaaS environments. 🔹 Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and frequent product releases. 🔹 Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to identify issues, reproduce bugs, and drive timely resolutions.

Key requirements: ✅ 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Software Test Automation. ✅ Prior experience working on a

B2B SaaS product is a plus. ✅ Strong experience building automation scripts and frameworks using tools such as:

• Playwright
• Selenium
• Cypress
• PyTest
• Robot Framework
• Behave (BDD) ✅ Experience testing Python-based applications and working with Python automation frameworks. ✅ Minimum 1 year of practical experience using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to write, debug, or optimize test code. ✅ Strong understanding of:
• API Testing (Postman, REST APIs)
• SQL/NoSQL databases
• Regression and Integration Testing
• Test Case Design & Edge Case Analysis
• Agile/Scrum methodologies ✅ Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms. ✅

Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to clearly document issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate testing outcomes effectively.

Nice to have: ⭐ Experience testing AI/LLM-powered features. ⭐ Familiarity with validating AI-generated outputs, prompt regressions, structured JSON responses, and non-deterministic AI behavior.
