Position Description Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual & API Testing) Position: QA Engineer 1 / QA Engineer 2 Experience: 3 – 5 Years Category: Quality Assurance / Testing Shift: General Shift Main Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai Position ID: J0626-2488 Employment Type: Full Time Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. ________________________________________ Position Description: We are looking for skilled QA Engineers with 3–5 years of experience in Manual and API Testing to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in functional testing, API validation, end-to-end testing, and defect management. Candidates with experience in the Healthcare Payer domain will be preferred. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust testing practices in an Agile environment. Your future duties and responsibilities Functional Testing

• Perform manual testing of web applications, APIs, and system integrations.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Validate end-to-end business workflows and system functionality.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. API Testing
• Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI.
• Validate API requests, responses, status codes, headers, and payloads.
• Execute negative testing, boundary testing, and data validation.
• Participate in integration testing across multiple systems and services. Test Planning & Documentation
• Analyze business requirements and prepare test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios.
• Maintain test cases, traceability matrix, and test execution reports.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and QA planning activities. Collaboration
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to clarify requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics. Quality Assurance
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing best practices, and project quality guidelines.
• Support regression testing and release validation activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and testing optimization.
• Support automation testing initiatives wherever applicable. ________________________________________ Must-Have Skills:
• 3–5 years of experience in Manual Testing and API Testing.
• Strong experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of API request/response validation, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Must-Have Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in Manual Testing and API Testing.
• Strong experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of API request/response validation, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ________________________________________ Good-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or Cypress.
• Healthcare Payer domain experience.
• Knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
• Exposure to performance or security testing.
