QA Engineer (Manual and Automation)

Role & responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive manual test cases for Windows and Web applications.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory Testing.
• Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Reports.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using JIRA.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Regression Validation.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright, Ranorex, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Execute and monitor automated test suites within Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and QA team members.
• Support release validation and quality assurance activities.
• Adapt testing focus between manual and automation based on sprint and release requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of Software Testing experience.
• Strong Manual Testing experience (60% focus).
• Automation testing using Playwright, Ranorex, Cypress, or similar tools (40% focus).
• Experience testing Windows Desktop Applications and Web Applications.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for defect management.
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Test Case Design, Defect Lifecycle, and QA Processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
