QA Engineer (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Product architecture grasping
• Understand product requirements and create test scenarios and test cases (technical + non technical example).
• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests.
• Identify, log, and track defects through resolution and understands Priority vs Severity.
• Ensure adequate test coverage across releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive test scenarios, defect fixing and defect reproduction.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and reviews.
• Contribute to automation initiatives where possible.
• Maintain clear test documentation and execution reports.
• Contribute to performance and scalability testing (good to have).
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and continuous integration cycles.

Requirements

• 2-12 years of experience in software testing / QA.
• Strong skills in test case design and manual testing.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, CDETS etc.).
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing techniques.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation tools (pytest).
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Unix).
• Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with Agile development environments.
