QA Engineer at A FinTech Company

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Perform manual and automated API/web testing.
• Develop and maintain automation using Rest Assured.
• Track defects and document test results.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and product teams in Agile environments.
• Improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Strong knowledge of manual, functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
