QA Consultant - Data Excellence

We are seeking a QA Consultant - Data Excellence to join our team in India. This role is focused on ensuring the highest quality of data through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for data integrity and quality assurance.
• Identify, record, and track defects in data processes and systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality standards are met.
• Perform data profiling and validation to ensure data is accurate and usable.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the automation of testing processes to enhance efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data quality concepts and data management best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks (e.g., ETL processes).
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
