Qa Business Analyst

Business Analysis

• Understand and analyze business requirements and processes.
• Interact with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Prepare BRD/FRD, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and potential improvements in requirements.
• Convert business requirements into clear and testable functional requirements.
• Coordinate with development, product, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs and solution discussions.
• Support UAT and help resolve functional queries raised by business users.

Quality Assurance / Testing

• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Work closely with developers to understand and reproduce defects.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.
• Participate in release validation and production verification.
• Ensure adequate test coverage for new features and enhancements.
• Analyze production issues and assist in identifying the functional root cause.

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain requirement documents, test cases, defect reports, and release documentation.
• Conduct requirement and defect discussions with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with developers, QA teams, product owners, and business teams.
• Provide regular status updates on requirements, testing progress, defects, and risks.Role & responsibilities
