QA Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategy for trading and analytics platforms
• Lead a team of QA engineers, providing technical mentorship and career development
• Design test automation frameworks for focusing on performance, reliability, and accuracy
• Collaborate with trading desk, users, and development teams to understand business requirements
• Develop performance test packs for latency analysis and capacity planning
• Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools
• Participate in UAT processes with users and key stakeholders for front to back initiatives
• Proactive analysis of incidents to implement preventive measures

Required Qualifications and experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 9-14 years of software QA experience, strictly in financial services
• Strong understanding of global financial markets, trading systems
• Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Strong background in test automation tools and frameworks
• Deep understanding of FIX protocol and other financial messaging standards
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID II, Reg NMS, etc.)
• Handson with GitLab, Jenkins/Gitlab CI
• Good to know monitoring tools such as Grafana/Prometheus

Mandatory Skill Set :

• Investment Banking domain good understanding of capital markets
• Knowledge of Equity Trading Markets
• Any exposure to electronic trading systems for equities, FX or similar.
• Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Strong background in test automation tools and frameworks
• Deep understanding of FIX protocol and other financial messaging standards
