Playwright/Selenium Test Automation Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Test Automation Lead to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Selenium, Playwright, and Python, with a proven ability to develop and maintain robust automation frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
• Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Utilize Python scripting for test data generation and other automation tasks.
• Implement and leverage AI components within Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and technologies.

Technical Skills

• Experience: 6- 10 years of IT industry experience with a focus on Selenium, Playwright, and Python.
• Selenium: 6-8 years of experience in Automation Framework development using Selenium.
• Python: Experience with Python scripting and test data generation.
• Playwright: 2-3 years of experience with Playwright, including experience with AI components.
• Testing Types: Good knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, load and performance testing.
• API Testing: Experience with API testing.
• Security Testing: Awareness of Security testing.
• Quality: Knowledge of Product Quality and Quality metrics.
