QA Automation Engineer
- 5 to 6 years in QA, with hands-on in test automation
- Strong Appium experience for native and hybrid mobile application testing across multiple devices and OS versions.
- Strong programming ability in Java or JavaScript or Typescript.
- Working knowledge of a web automation framework such as Selenium or Playwright.
- API automation, with a working understanding of REST and authentication.
- Working SQL for test data setup and result verification.
- Strong debugging skills: able to diagnose flaky and failing tests and distinguish a real defect from a test or environment issue.
- Test data management: able to create, reset and maintain the data a suite.
- Version control with Git, and experience running automated tests through a CI tool such as Jenkins, GitLab CI
- Able to extend an existing framework and build new automation from scratch.
- Ability to work across multiple applications and switch between them as needed.
- Comfortable contributing to manual and exploratory testing alongside automation.
- Logical thinker, Collaborative, raises problems early and shares knowledge.
- Positive attitude and a good team player.
- Good written communication for producing test evidence.
