QA Automation Engineer

• We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and quality assurance practices.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Java and Selenium, along with a solid understanding of API, database, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams to drive issue resolution.
• Improve test coverage through automation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Execute API, database, and performance testing activities.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, estimation, and test case reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and quality engineering best practices.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular status updates on testing activities.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Rest Assured for API automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of API Testing, Database Testing, and Performance Testing.
• Experience with TestNG and/or BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Banking or FinTech domain.
• Exposure to modern test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
